We partnered with Ugani Prosthetics to design a sheet metal enclosure for their infinity belt 3D printer system.
The project focused on creating a functional and refined enclosure that balanced accessibility and manufacturability.
Form Follows Function
The enclosure was designed around the existing 3D printer, bringing its different components together into a clean and cohesive form. We focused on creating easy access, effective ventilation, and a simple construction that works well for both everyday use and manufacturing.
The enclosure combines sheet metal and 3D printed parts to create a simple and robust construction. Carefully designed bends and flanges allow the different sheet metal panels to come together seamlessly, with 3D printed components integrated into the overall assembly.
The final enclosure brings together industrial design and manufacturing in a solution built for everyday use. Designed in close collaboration with Ugani Prosthetics, it creates a durable and practical platform that supports their work in making prosthetic solutions more accessible.
